Site Update

If you’ve visited our site before, you might have noticed that something has changed.

In our very first blog post Welcome to RoamIndonesia.com we said we wanted to build the most comprehensive website for off-the-beaten-track travel in Indonesia. We also said we’d be continuing to add new attractions, content and enhancements as part of our commitment to you, the user.

Since launching, we’ve been overwhelmed by the positive feedback we’ve received and our traffic is growing each week as more and more users discover our website. Most importantly, our statistics are telling us that having found us, our users are sticking around looking through our content and returning at a later date. Why is this important? Because it tells us that users are finding our content useful.

However, we’re not resting on our laurels. Over the past month, we’ve been working on an enhanced page layout that brings every attraction for each major destination together on a single page. Not only that, we’ve incorporated a handy filter so users can filter by region and attraction type, making it easier to find the things that most interest you in the region you’ll be travelling. For example, traditional villages in Central Flores or volcano treks in East Java.

So far we’ve rolled it out for attractions in Flores, Kalimantan and Java. Check it out and let us know what you think.
